Why Donate to the SSO?
Although the SSO is a non-profit organization, it is sustained by concert ticket sales and member dues. Monetary donations allow the orchestra to invite professional artists to perform, purchase specialty instruments (such as the A clarinet or timpani), expand the music library, offer educational workshops, and attract talent like the SSO Music Director, Helena Jung.
Other donations, such as sheet music, instruments, and CD recordings, are essential components of making the SSO a success.
The SSO appreciates all donor support to allow local amateur musicians the opportunity to play and give the gift of music to the Comox Valley and Campbell River communities.
